The pyloric sphincter valve is found between the stomach and the duodenum of the small intestine. It regulates the passage of food from the stomach into the small intestine. On the dissected frog below, the black pin indicates the stomach and the red indicates the location of the pyloric sphincter valve. The section of small intestine just past the valve is the duodenum and it is not as curly as the jejunum of the small intestine.
